I was the tender age of 9 and in the 5th grade when I first met Kai. She was a "Big Sister of America" to a childhood friend of mine and allowed us to have a slumber party at her house. I remembered thinking, WOW she's so pretty I would love to have a big sister like her! Kai cooked for us, which was delicious by the way, yummy ;) We played Beautyshop, I mean it was all-around "GOOD TIMES" for a bunch of young girls. I especially had a good time having always wanted a big sister myself. Throughout the years I would remember that night and how she also came to speak to our group G.E.M.S. (which stood for Girls in Entertainment, Mathematics, and Sciences) genuinely wondering how she was doing.
Fast forward years and years later to 2010 and I decided to look her up. I could only go off of her first name Kai because it was all I had to go on along with an autographed picture. Well that's not a lot of help but then it struck me as my eyes scrolled down. This was a cast photo for the show she was on called Medicine Ball! All I had to do was IMDB the show! I went to IMDB and typed in Medicine Ball----FAIL. She was on this show however, the information was not fully updated. Something in me still wanted to see what she was up to so from what I could remember of her last name, I typed in all the possibilities I could configure paired with her first name and the word actress. VOILA!!!!! I found her full name which then led me to her web series CHICK and her blog. She is such a dynamic WOMAN!(Writer, Producer, Actor, and Director) She would have to be pretty AMAZING for a 5th grader to remember her for years and years to come. She made quite an impression on me then and she is still doing BIG BIG THINGS today! Kai has posted her perils, challenges and triumphs in her blog and multiple web-series on Youtube. I have watched this series multiple X multiple times and I luv every single moment of it. I will also post a link to the web-series below. I am looking forward to working with Kai in the very near future and so appreciate her reaching out to me and offering help on my projects!!!
